Local and Regional Support

Hanna Learning Centre has a dedicated Career and Employment Centre and is also home to the local Rural Alberta Business Centre.

Big Country Community Adult Learning Centre has representatives in the communities of Acadia Valley, Cereal, and Oyen and offers career and employment assistance through the support of Alberta Human Resources and Employment.

Forty Mile Community Resource Centre is a place where persons aged 15 and up are welcome to assistance in finding a job or developing a career.

Alberta Works has support centres in Southern Alberta including Brooks and Medicine Hat and offers employment, training and career services.

Provincial Support

General Business Services focuses on general career planning and employment information applicable to most employers and job seekers.

Youth Services focuses on career planning options and services for youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who are transitioning to careers, learning, work and independence.

Persons with Disabilities focuses on career planning options and services for persons with disabilities.

Aboriginal Peoples focuses on career planning options and tools for aboriginal people deciding on a career direction, planning an education, or looking for work.

Mature Workers focuses on mature people over the age of 50 and working or looking for work.
