Palliser Economic Partnership collaborates with various agencies in order to serve the member communities' and the region's better interests for economic development and investment attraction purposes.

CENetwork

The Corporate Education Network (CENetwork) is an initiative of the Human Resources and Skills Development Canada and serves to increase the economic capacity of South East Alberta through increased skill and education development within the region's workforce. The CENetwork explores and promotes training, fills training gaps, and provides a network for both trainers and industry to share and disseminate best training practices.

Community Futures Entre-Corp Business Development

Entre-Corp is a Community Futures Development Corporation, that is community owned, and committed to providing advanced programs and resources to the communities of southeastern Alberta. Its priorities are job creation, entrepreneurship, economic growth and community development.

Community Futures Meridian Region

Community Futures Meridian Region fosters community and regional partnerships through liaisons with local, provincial and federal groups to enhance rural service.

Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta (EDA)

EDA promotes investment into the region and works with businesses of Southeast Alberta to expand and access new markets. Members include the City of Medicine Hat , Town of Redcliff , Cypress County , County of Forty Mile, Town of Bow Island, Medicine Hat & District chamber of Commerce, Medicine Hat College , Palliser Health Region and the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede.

Municipal Affairs & Housing

The Ministry of Alberta Municipal Affairs and Housing contributes to the development of strong, safe and sustainable communities. It provides programs and services to help ensure Albertans are served by accountable and effective local governments; live in strong and safe communities; and that lower income Albertans have access to housing that is affordable.

SAMDA Economic Partnership Ltd.

SAMDA is a partnership of Special Areas Board, MD of Acadia #34, the Town of Oyen, the Village of Empress, and the Village of Cereal, created to foster healthy, viable community growth and economic stability for the communities.

 

Alberta Employment & Immigration

The Ministry of Employment and Immigration (AE&I) includes the Department of Alberta Employment and Immigration (E&I), the Alberta Relations Board, Appeals Commission for Alberta Workers' Compensation and the Workers' Compensation Board.

The Ministry's major responsibilities are:

  • Helps Albertans train for as well as find and keep employment.
  • Provides financial and health benefits, child support services and employment support to Albertans in need.
  • Contributes to workplaces that are safe, healthy, fair, and stable for employees and employers.

Community Futures Wild Rose

Community Futures Wild Rose is a community -owned, not-for-profit organization committed to providing the highest quality business and employment services, resources, and assistance to local entrepreneurs and residents of Acme, Bassano, Beiseker, Carbon, Chestermere, Hussar, Irricana, Linden, Rockyford, Rosebud, Standard, Strathmore, Three Hills, Trochu, Kneehill County, the south east side of Mountain View County, east side of Municipal District of Rocky View, northwest side of County of Newell, and Wheatland County.

Palliser Economic Partnership works with these partner agencies and provides support in achieving mutually beneficial goals and objectives, whereby the entire region grows and prospers.
