Palliser Economic Partnership Event Criteria for Sponsorship

Palliser Economic Partnership has defined its mission “To create an environment that encourages regional cooperation and business investment and empowers citizens to achieve their full potential”. The Palliser Economic Partnership, in support of our mission, provides monetary support to broaden and strengthen the Palliser region as a whole.
The Palliser Economic Partnership offers two 500.00$ grants a fiscal year to member communities or organizations that attend or hold events that support economic development and prosperity in the Palliser region.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Have written Member Community support of one of the following;
- The event must have regional cooperation elements.
- The event should pertain to one or more:
- Agriculture
- Metal manufacturing
- Energy
- Technology
- Impact a regional sector
- The event must be in Alberta.
- The event must incorporate a regional economic development learning component.
- Attendee will act as a PEP ambassador
- Attendee will provide a brief presentation or report to the Palliser Economic Partnership board on event.
Application Information
Applicant’s Request Letter needs to include:
- Outline event details.
- Outline who is attending.
- Explain the relevance of the event.
- Explain how the event will support your role in the community.
All grants are subject to Palliser Economic Partnership Sponsorship Committee approval. All funding is granted on a competitive basis, and dependent on a pre-determined rating scale.
Dates and Deadlines
All application material must be received 45 days prior to the event.
