Health care in the region is provided by the Palliser Health Region and the David Thompson Health Region. The Palliser Health Region covers 26,000 square kilometers and offers numerous hospitals, as well as Community Health Services in all communities, delivering excellent health care to all residents. A staff of about 2,300 and 114 physicians serve 98,074 residents through 5 community health sites and 577 continuing care beds and 273 acute care beds throughout the region. The Palliser Region has the following hospitals

In addition to these facilities, the communities also provide access to various other health professionals and other services including, but not limited to dentists, extendicare homes and more.

To ensure health care is provided in a timely manner, the Palliser area is equipped with various paid and volunteer positions in the areas of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and ambulance services.
