PEP STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT

The Palliser Region was assessed strategically with the objectives of

• defining the key clusters/sectors

• comparing the economy in the Palliser Region with other regional economies

• identifying key clusters with high potential for growth

• providing the strategic analysis for the economic development strategy

Based on the assessment, it is clear that the Palliser Region has positioned itself as a low cost centre and has opportunities for growth in the following sectors
